There are just so many good quality combo's out there. Bass Pro Shop sells decent combo's, and places like Academy and Gander Mountain have some nice combo's from time to time, but I would recommend you do some research and pick your rod and reel out seperately if you don't mind doing some browsing.

If you are going for spinning gear, get a BPS Extreme/Stradic combo.

If you want a baitcaster . . . you might want to try the Johny Morris combo

06, if you are going with a spinning outfit I'd get a 6' medium action rod with a reel that makes it a balanced outfit. You can find good, workable combos at most places that sell tackle that won't break the bank-Academy, BPS, Cabelas, Walmart-you get the picture. Pick up a few and see which one feels right to you.

The presidential rod and reel sets are really nice the medium action setup has great balance and the rod has great action and it is very durable caught my 3.5 on it last week and I loved the feel I got from it first time fishing my spinning setup in a long time I usually stick to my baitcasters, but presidential are a good price and great quality.
