Default Trambone report

Dragged boat down Friday night with wife and met up with my fishing buddy Steve and his wife. Big plans and big winds changed everything. Well too big for my little boat..
Saturday launched Kiptopeake at dawn to 3 footers..Now I could have run them to the leeward side of 4 but with two women on board and buddy Steve with some back issues I decided to just fish the cement ships. No luck so we set up for some chunk bait. Two small cow nosed rays released and the sun was high. Beer and siesta time. Later we had an opportunity to run out to drum grounds and set up with sea clams.
No joke, first line out and fish on. For the next two hours we fought big rays, sharks and two black drum. One drum was 39 inches and the smaller was 35. We kept the smaller one and released the big one.
By 10pm it was done and we packed up.
Sunday the wind was up again so a change of venue. Went out of Oyster and drifted for flounder 8 caught and only one made it to 18.5 inches. A small shark was also caught on a flounder rig. After beer and siesta just Steve and I came back to setup for drum but only caught sharks all night. One sand shark almost four feet long. I got a small shark that looked like a thrasher and he was about four feet long also.
Monday wind was up again and we floated for flounder out of Oyster.
Here is Steve in pain lifting fish.

Good trip low on fish and too much wind.
