Red face lots of fish no bites

fishing a small lake in SoCA very mossiey no luck with plactics jigs or spinners. any pointers please.

Try rigging soft-plastic worms or slug-gos weedless and let them fall through holes in the moss, the bass might hit those.

If not, keep trying different lures worked around thick moss. The bass fight hard through it, so be careful!

hmm you sound like you had a day like me. Fish were jumping all around the boat but none would bite.

i would try a weightless senko. may be a watermelon seed or something that matches the color of water or the vegitation

thank u for your responce tried the slug, worked well.
I ran into some locals (not very manny) they were teling me that there were
8-12 lb cat fishin the lake as well. thinking using some anchoive or macerl
on a dropshot while fishing the shore line.
