Talking My First Bass!

Yesterday,8-12-2007, I was fishing some senkos around some trees.. After about 2hrs of fishing with senkos, I decided to go to a spinnerbait.... again no luck... so I began to take out the ol' cast net and decided to cast...again I had little/no luck, I only caught 1 shad. SO I decided to use that little shad as bait...sure enough... my pole bagan the pull! As I reeled in, I thought to myself... its probably a crappie or a blue gill, because I never have luck with bass. Anyway, I brought it in and sure enough it was a Largemouth Bass! It was about 7-8 inches, but... it's my first one!

I have but no such luck
But when I get my boat I can go to less "noisy" areas, where I fish there are tons of people swimming and playin LOUD music, so that lessens mychances of catching fish. Hopefully the big bass are where there is no noise or pollution whats so ever.

Good job, Stevo! You also have a big clue as to what to use in the way of artificials. You caught it on a shad. So: A Smokey Joe color Rat-L-Trap, A smokin' shad color Zoom Super Fuke ar a shad colored Bandit 100 series crankbait.
