Preventive care?
Well, next month marks the 1 year anniversary of me having my new (to me) boat. The boat is an 85 bass tracker with a 75 Hp Merc. The one caveat is that the engine was modified from a prop to a jet.
I have not had any real issues with the boat other than a learning curve and would just as soon keep it that way. The boat is in San Diego and sees water 3-4 times a month so it doesn't get winterized. It has sat unused for a max of 3 weeks any given time. I had gotten it from a trusted friend and have the paperwork from the last tune up which was done at BPS about 18 months ago. So the question is? What should I be doing as preventive care on the motor?
