Default Antique Lures......

I just found a box down in my basement of all antique fishing stuff. I've got lures, reels, line. Theres even a fishing license from 54' and all it is a button. I was wondering if anyone else has any antique stuff. Im gonna post the pics tomorrow after I get back from carp fishing. I really think you guys are gonna appreciate it.

When I was a teenager this tacklestore was closing. That was back in the 60's. I bought a few lures. Still have them somewhere. One I remember was a jointed plug. Never used them though. Boy, if I only knew back then.

This stuff isnt terribly old, I think most of it is from the 30's to early 60's. But I thought you guys would maybe enjoy. Theres a ton more stuff, I just picked out most of the cooler stuff.

fellas...............you guys have got some of the finest wall hangers there is. do yourself a favor, fine a shadow box and put these lures and so forth in it. PRONTO!!! don't handle them very much if at all possible. don't ever take them out and play with them either. NEVER USE THEM!!! these can be handed down for generations. please hold them dearly. wonderful stuff guys. congrats.

Great Pics, I love the old stuff, I have several fishing reels that are fairly old, these are a couple I picked up recently, been working to get them restored. These are both South Bend #750 Model A, from what I can tell they were made in the early 1930's. I have a couple more that I am currently working on, when I am finished I will post more pics.

Keep the old stuff coming.

Thanks, I know it is not the same, but most reels from the 30's and 40's can be picked up off of E-Bay for 15-20 dollars. Some nice stuff if you have a little cash and a lot of time.

Reb? You typing with food in your mouth again????

Basshunter - the bait and tackle you posted look a lot like what my grandfather had in his box. He lived not too far south of you. Might be a regional thing.
