Default switch Question

There is a toggle switch below the key on the throttle control on my boat, the control and motor is a 1994 yamaha, its not a kill switch, or horn. What does this control?

Does it look after market or does it look factory installed?

This may sound dumb, but what happens when you flick the switch?

Hey Doug, When you push the switch do you hear any electric pump motors? Thinking it could possibly be your livewell pumps or bilge pump.

Default More switch info

it is a factory installed switch. The bildge pump, areator, live well switches are on the dash. When the switch is on there are no pumps running. A friend of mine had a boat with a decopression switch for easier starting could it be that???????????????

Not a light switch power trim button on side of throttle lever. I think it might be a go fast button, Nitrous, jet engine power, maybe even wings LOL

Wish I'd seen this thread before. It is indeed a choke switch, just like on mine.
