Default Can my reel be fixed.

After i cast my baitcasting reel and turn the handle the thumb bar doesnt pop back up. can i fix this myself?

Yes it can be done. If your worried about not getting it fixed by yourself then I can fix it right up for ya at no charge but pay shipping. I've fixed tons of reels. What reel is it?

Problem your having sound like spring got disconnected from arm when the bar pressed. If you prefer do self then unscrew both side one at time and put em in order then locate the spring on handle side. You see its loose. Reconnect it.

It's a good idea to get familiar with the inner workings of your reels. It's great to be able to clean and service your reels yourself. That being said, be careful. Make sure you work on a clean, well lit work space. Lay out the parts in the order you took them off so you don't lose track of where something goes. If you don't have the schematic that came with the reel, go online and download it. Be careful!
