what size hooks do you use for 3-5lb?

Same answer as your other question: It depends on the size of the bait, not the size of the fish. I've caught 3 pounders on a 5/0 hook and 6 pounders on a 1/0 hook. Match it to the size of the bait.

i use a 4/0 size hook gamakatsu blood red i dont know if the red works but i like to think it does

3/0 hook is fine if you are in heavy cover or weeds step up to a 4/0 hook and heavier line and make sure it has a heavier wire to it. Otherwise the 3/0 works good for me in red. I use BPS wide gaps in red. About 4 bucks for 25 of them.

just like reb said its not the size of the line merely the size of the bait,hopefully you werent sayin the size of the fish!

im agreeing to you on this one,imo i think it works better,maybe not so much on worms,but on spinners,buzz's.and cranks it makes a big differemce.and if doesnt work,your still confident in it,thus putting more fish in the boat.
