West Tennessee fishing report. 4-2-06
Crappie: Crappie fishing was excellent today , I caught the limit (30) in about 1 hour. The Crappie were in about 3-5 feet of water in the back coves on sunken trees and stumps. Baits of choice were small in-line spinnerbaits in chartreuse with silver blades, white jigs, and live minnows on a float. 4/2/06
Bass: Some Bass are on the beds and hitting a wide variety of baits. Most of the Bass I caught were hitting Rogue Jerkbaits, purple plastic worms, and pumpkin seed lizards. I caught a few here and there on just about everything in the tackle box, so throw it all! 4/1/06 Bluegill: Very few Bluegill, most to small to keep, I caught a few while Crappie fishing swimming small black with gold fleck jigs, and live minnows on floaters. 4/2/06
