new member lookin for some fishing help
Hello everyone, I have always loved to fish but have never been to serious(by serious i mean regular at it) or good at it. I have spent the majority of the summer on the lake(center hill in Tennessee) trying to fish for small or large mouth.
I have thrown everything you can think of from plastics to spinners. I know my problem is just lack of knowlege about the fish, their habits, and so forth. Center Hill is a great lake, but it really doesn't have grass beds to speak of. It does have drop offs and deep and shallow areas. Its a clear lake for the most part. I would appreciate any advice, I am willing to try anything. Thanks Justin |

If you can find any cover like stumps or submerged trees at around 5-9 feet of water you should fish around them with a Plastic worm or a tiki stick. You could probably catch a few on topwater in the early morning or late in the afternoon. I would suggest a spook or a popper. You might also have some good luck at night with a black jitterbug or spinner. Good luck man, I hope you catch some nice ones............

Well welcome to the forum!
This time of year I have the same advice as Zooker-try your other baits, but if they aren't producing a finesse worm on a jighead will often work.
