Hi everyone. This is my first post so i figured i would introduce myself. I am a student at Virginia Tech and just recently joined the bass fishing team here. About a month ago we won the ESPN national championship. We are a very new club and havent been around for even a year. We are also broke and in desperate need of sponsors. You may want to fill out your profile if you want to correspond with all of the guys here first. Kind of a thing here. We'd like to know a little about you. Also would like to know a little about the club down there. Thanks for the link. Sounds like you are in need of a few fund raising ideas. There may be a few floating around here already.

welcome! there are a lot of good people on this site so maybe you can get the sponsor help you need. but if not, there are a lot of great anglers on here so i know you will find some good fishing information.

Welcome, always glad for any bassaholics. HMM, let's see, college and parties. How about a 3-4 kegger with a door charge, that goes towards the bass club? You'll have fun, even if you don't raise any money lol.

I started a high school club last spring as well so I know what you are going through. We've got $20 in the bank and are trying to come up with ideas to boost the revenue. Getting companies to sponsor a tournament is tough. They want a 3 month notice to that it can be approved by corporate!!!! All I'm asking for is a spool of line and a spinnerbait or two to give out as prizes.

I saw on your website that you fished against NC State. I met the president of that team this spring at the OCHS outdoor show. Nice guy. Did a good job getting things going in NC. You should get in touch with him and get some ideas (if you haven't already).

Na i just recently joined the team. Just after the win. Didnt know about the team til they won the national championship. There were only four guys on the team at the time...
