Z-Mann Plastics
Any of you guy's use the Z-Mann plastics. I order three packs today. I got the craws, lizards, and brush hogs. My buddy got some and he said they are are tough. He had to heat the screw lock on a shakey head before it would start.

I got 5 packages of the Zman Crawdad and then tried to screw lock into the lure.
IMPOSSIBLE...........well....... I mean its not easy. I planned on heading back to BPS to see i they had a suggestion but trust me they are slippery and VERY VERY hard to screw lock. If you get a better option please share it |

Make sure you don't mix ElaZtech with any other soft plastics, they will melt.

Jrob is right, they don't play well with other plastics.
I use the Strike King elaztech finesse worms made of the same material. They are nearly impossible to put on a screwlock shaky head. I use strike king's tour grade shaky heads. I also bought a back of Owner's new shaky heads poured on EWG hooks to try. Can't wait. BB

Dude!! Sweet!!
Dude!! Sweet!! That is a good tip...I've got some of the Elaztech shaky worms, and it is an EXTREME pain getting them on the Spot Remover shaky head jigs...they have a spike on top of the head to impale the worm on. I'm gonna try this next time out. Thanks for the idea...

One other thing I do is take your sharpening file and sharpen the tip of the screw lock or CPS spring. It just takes a few swipes and it puts a nice point on the end.
hookset on 3
