Default A-rig does it again on.....

Claytor Lake- the great aquatic desert. A pending new state record spot caught the A-rig. http://www.roanoke.com/outdoors/wb/306130

I hope so too.

The article(link) says that this guy didn't realize he had caught a possible state record spotted bass. He thought it was just another 4+lbs. largemouth bass... Are you kidding me!

Alright people, if you haven't already done it, learn to identify the different species of Black Bass and have a idea of the notable weights. And of utmost importance, know your States rules and regulations concerning a record setting catch.

It's looking to be great year for bass angling, don't let ignorance get in the way.

I thought it was kinda ridiculous he thought it was another LM too.
