Default Kicking off the year at Wylie

Friday I practiced, had 2 bites, caught one and shook off the other one

Saturday Bass Weekend Series Tournament as Boater, go to my first spot catch the one i shook off, 1/2in to short. I thought about where the fish had to be, so I tried it, 2nd cast on the point, I was fishing a jig on 15lb 100% Flouro, he thumped it before it even hit the bottom, set the hook my line broke. Run to the next point, get bit,set the hook, line breaks again,so i respool it with 12lb flouro. Run to the next point get bit,had him on and he pulled off half way to the boat. Run to the next point, retie 2 casts later, get another bite, set the hook my line breaks again!

That is the roughest day I have ever had
(plus my co-anglers brand new revo Winch blew out of the boat)

Think you can top that?hahaha

Damn, swimbait, that really sucks. Sounds like you need to stop eating bananas while fish! Or try a different line brand (unless in a sponsor).

Things will go bad at times, just hang in there.

Hate to hear your bad luck.
Maybe its just the lake. I had a tourny a wylie last year and lost two good fish and another that had to be pushing four pounds. Only had 2 fish to weigh in. Good luck with the rest of the year.
