Default Peak Pike Time...

Well guys, pike time is now upon us here in Southern Michigan. So far, from September 1st onward, my dad and I have caught 20 pike exactly, all from 15" to about 27". Most fish have come from large(3/8 to 1/2 ounce)spinnerbaits fished in 6-15 f.o.w. above large milfoil and coontail weedbeds. My dad and I plan to go out tomorrow morning and night, we have not been out in the morning yet, will try tomorrow. Will post report tomorrow afternoon(1:00PM). Sorry no pics. Top production lures so far inclue:

1) Booyah! Tux and Tails(3/8 oz.)
2) Strike King Premier Plus (1/2 oz.)

Well, caught two more since Saturday, up to 22 pike since Sept. 1st.

BTW BB144, other lures to use: 1)Rapala HJ's(sizes 5-11)
2)Mepps spinners/cyclops(sizes 3-6)
3)Johson's Silver Minnow w/ Slug-Go Trailer
4)Large(1-2 1/2 ounce) PNJ's
5)Rapala Minnow Raps(sizes 4-8)
6)Wacky/T-Rig Senkos(6 or 8 or 10" Senkos)

There ya' go...

Thanks, I've got a nice big jig from musky fishing up at Hudson. It's red/white and I got 10" red ribbontail worm for it. I'd like something bulkier though, maybe a Soft Plastic lobster...

Should be great, I mean that jig. We went out Thursday, 100% sun in the sky, no other lures producing, threw on a jig and in the first three casts, fish on each cast, all to the surface, no landing though...
