Default Do you use any Japanese Gear?

Do you guys use any JDM gear?

If not, here's some pics of some JDM eye candy that might make you want to

That's enough for now I think.

That's a Revo Elite IB. I believe it's new for 2010. Cost: Approx. $438.

Oh, and technically P-line is not JDM. While it's made it Japan (or overseas somewhere) it is made for the US market.

Daiwa must be run by a woman. Get a man excited and tell him he can't have it anymore
That's the first time I've seen cork grips on a reel. Bet they're awesome!

I voted yes because i really don't know if my gear is made in japan or not. My guess is that some of my gear was made in japan, isn't most everything nowadays made there or china or mexico? Or somewhere overseas anyway.

that's funny too John.

Oh, and just to clear some stuff up, when talking about JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) gear, it's not just stuff that's made in Japan, but stuff that is ONLY sold on the japanese market. That why guys who use it have to import it into the states.

I wish I could find someone to smuggle me in some of that Japanese stuff. I think they are far ahead of American companies. Even Japanese baits are amazing to me... No , I am not putting down "made in america" Im just saying , compare them side by side , and I believe the Japan brands will win hands down.

CMorg, if you've got the money, and you're willing to spend, it there's no need to smuggle stuff in. There's a couple sites that you can buy new JDM rods and reels, and one that has a few used reels as well.
