Default Kistler Argon Rods

Hey guys, found a few of these on ebay, and am looking at possibly getting a 7'3" MH for my senko and t-rig fishing. I just wanted to know if anyone has one, and how you like em. Also, if anyone knows what they retailed for last year, I'd love to know cause they're not making them this year.

Thanks,

BB

I have never used one but I know that they were between the Magnesium and Helium. So that would probably put them in the $200-250 range. If the price is right I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.

I've been looking at these also. They didn't make a swim bait rod and that is the only rod I need right now. Trying to decide if the fliping model would work for swimbaits up to 2 ounces. I did read on Kistlers site they might come back sometime in the future. From what I've read most users like them.

Argon is very comparable to the pre '09 LTA, has a slightly thicker (read more durable, stronger) blank, but but retains the LTA feel and sensitivity. I used Argon for T-reg/Senko and MY preference was for the 6'9" MH, I really like that length, plenty of distance, with slightly better accuracy (for me) in casting over the longer rod. If you prefer long sitcks then the 7'2" worm rod should do it fo you. Also sent you a PM.
