Well I'd get in trouble for a post that was like this:

Seriously though, I don't pay a whole lot of attention to post count anyways as I don't think it really says much about the poster.

I was just adding some more ICAST 2011 stuff. I guess I could give the little info I know about the rod. I believe there will be 6 rods made like with. Dobyns Rods teamed up with Army Bass Anglers for this mini-series of rods and are calling it the Coalition Series. Don't know what the specs for the rods will be or the price point. I wouldn't be surprised if part of the profits go to ABA.

Not sure I even like the camo. Definitely is better than the Max4 or Realtree camo'ed rods.

I don't pay attention or care about post count either. I was just trying to razz you about what I thought was an accidental blank post. Was there something in it that I'm not able to see?

There's a picture of the rod, that's also in your quote. Anyone else not see it?

They are ugly but I think more people would see the benefits of glass if they ever used them. Hopefully this will help make glass rods more accessible.

It seems like there are a ton of frogs being released this year too.

These new mouse baits are sweet looking!

I'm more wowed by the trout! Although the frogs/mice do look awesome!

The trout jerkbait I think will really give me and edge early in the season when the stock the Lower Red River with baby brown trout. I can see some nice smallies coming on these... I hope they make a suspending version soon, and a 2.5!

No doubt.

New St.croix rage Jersey was talkin about. First place I've seen anything about em. http://blog.wired2fish.com/blog/bid/...with-Rage-Rods

They look quality.. but it's also the first st.croix I ever though was ugly.

Wow, that's definitely different than any Croix I've ever seen before. I'm not a fan of stainless steel rings on guides. I'm curious to feel the grips, it isn't eva.

Me too... I'd imagine it's similar to the American rodsmiths golf grip. I wish they wouldn't have gone with a split grip.. just so it looks better.. just my 2 cents though.

Yeah, a split grip, drop shot hook keeper and trimmed down reel seat threads would have been nice.

I noticed the Chronarch has the built in Japan stamp, not Malaysia. But I don't see the same for the Curado...hmmmmmm

Time will tell.

Yeah there are. Spro's new baby Popping Frog looks awesome. I'll definitely be getting one or two. Then maybe I'll start frog fishing more, lol.

The Spro Little John Baby DD looks great too.

Gamakatsu is now making a weedless version of the SS/DS hook.

And another interesting new fluorocarbon: Sunline Reaction FC. Designed specifically for reaction baits, it's has 5% more stretch than "standard fluorocarbons"

While ICAST was a bust for me when it comes to reels, it looks like there will be plenty of other stuff to spend my money on.

I think I'll have to get one of the little poppin frogs or one these new Kahara frogs. Use that river fishin, and skip it way up into lay downs and under cut banks and trees. Can't wait to get some, lol!
