Default Hot summer bass

Since it's summer time and hot (right zooker ) here's a summer time bass. It weighed 6 lbs 10 oz. I caught it on a baby brushhog. Sorry I don't have a shirt on. It was a hot day. This fish was caught in a different pond at Paradise. Man I love that place!!

I probably catch 10-12 bass a year there that will weigh 5-7 lbs. It's just an awesome place. I have one pond in paticular that I call the "Hawg Pond". It's the one with the powerlines in the water. I've caught a lot of big fish out of that pond. I caught a 5 fish limit there one morning that went 23.7 lbs. and lost one on a jig that would have gone close to 8 lbs. Couldn't get anyone to go with me that morning either.
I have a few more pictures left and that will be it. I might go one afternoon this week and hopefully get some more!

Let me know when your coming!!

spotted or "Kentucky" bass.

largemouth bass.

little different jaw position and gill size, fins are a tiny bit different in angle and such.

the only way i can tell is putting them side by side with a large mouth. that and they are very agressive even in winter.

Well you can tell the difference between a large and spot by the spot always having a rough patch on its tung.
