Default Has Your Fishing License Expired?

My old Indiana Fishing License expired yesterday, March 31st.

I went to the Indiana Outdoor License Website and applied for a new one; gave them $17 via my debit card, then had a copy of it printed it out on my printer.

It was as easy at that. I even chose to print off two copies, in case I ever lost one.

Here's Indiana's website: http://www.in.gov/ai/appfiles/dnr-license/

Printing out multiples is a good idea - because they charge you for a duplicate, should you loose one, at an over-the-counter distributer. I actually go overboard (no pun intended). I print 3 copies - truck, boat & wallet all get one.

Thanks for the reminder, Woodrow.

I almost ran over to the local pit for a few casts today, but stopped when I remembered my license is shot. (Unfortunately my home printer is out of ink...must be all of those manifestos I've been mailing out ).

Multiple copies is definitely the way to go.

Not overboard, smart. I do the same.

I have to pick mine up this week for sure. Right now my printer is on the fritz so it's WallyWorld for my license. I always get three copies, One for my wallet and one for each tackle bag.

After Thursday I can get a lifetime license for $110. Just hope I live 5 more years to get my moneys worth.

In the state of MD they charge a "convenience fee" to do all of the work online yourself.

Indiana makes up for it by assessing other taxes.

I remember a while back when Indiana also charged a fee. I believe it was a fee of $3 or $4 for the convenience of doing it all at home. They finally decided to drop the fee.
