Talking I almost met our maker!!!

Well guy's last week i almost died. Last Monday i had a sist removed from my head in Urgent Care. By Wednesday my face was totally swollen. I was admitted into the hospital. Well it became infected. The infection had went to my blood. I was admitted to the Hospital. I was told i had Hours to live if i was wasn't pumped full of antibiotics. At one point i had 3 bags of this stuff running through my IV at one time. Well guy's it was a drug resistant MRSA or comonly known as Staff. The Docter say's it will never leave my system. That i will probably be fighting it again. I'm Home & back at work. I won't lye i really am tired. This 3 day weekend comming up i'm going to the Missouri River. Hopefully to fight White Bass Or even a Big Big Grass Carp on my 8 wt Fly Rod. Never will i take life for granted.

It can be somewhat sobering the first time we face a true life and death experience. It makes allot of us re-adjust priorities in our lives. It can certainly be humbling to realize that we all are only mortal and the rules of life and death apply to us all.

glad your ok, take it for what it is and use it to grow.

Glad you're ok moose. My son had a bad staff infrection a couple of years ago and ended up in the hospital with IVs etc. Good news is he recovered very quickly and hasn't had that serious of a recurrence since then. Hope you do as well! Take care and get some rest.

Glad you're doing better .My family and I realize just how precious life is. I've been fighting cancer since December. Being faced with death is a real eye opener. Makes you thankful for what you have, family, friends and the like. Hang in there. By the way fishing helps cure the soul!
