Default powerpoles

are they worth the money? do they really work? are they like pushpoles or just anchors?

Never used one, but they're like they say: Shallow water anchors.

No not worth it...unless you fish tidal non rocky less than six feet of water areas.. Stake a push pole or put an electric anchor at a fration of the price..

Put if you fish salt flats and backwater for reds yes by all means get one..

They are cool..

The only people around here I know that have them use them for bed fishing. They can spot a bed and with the push of a button stop the boat right there. I have even heard of people using 2 of them so in the wind the boat doesn't rotate. Personally I think when it is up it would really get in the way of the guy in the back.

Used them, love them. Not really for good for bass fishing, unless you plan on sitting for a while. We use them in the river, pretty good up to 8'.
