Default Snow coming tomorrow.

I was looking forward to finally getting some fishing done this weekend and there calling for over 6inches of snow tonite. I feel like making a hat out of that damn groundhog! We've had unseasonably warm weather and everyone thought we were in the clear for winter and I was getting all psyched about spring getting here. Well, guess I'll have to continue to dropshot for a few more months. Damnit!

I was just looking at the weather channels sight where they have the observed temps for our area the past 2 months. On January 2nd it was 80 degrees, of course I went to the football game in Dallas. The whole month of January most every day was 65 or higher, some well into the 70s...then we hit feb and its all 50s. In other words it feels as if we are going backwards. We will be just out of the snow tonight but they're calling for flurries on sunday...oh I can't wait till that special day of the year when I realize the winter is finally dead. I think I'll throw a kegger to celebrate it this year.

We aren't getting too much here, but I think that I will go skiing tomorrow. This winter has been bad for fishing around here. It has been too warm for ice fishing, I don't trust the ice when it is that thin.

I had about 2 feet and they made a 2 hour delay. But my parents said I could skip school.
