Default Chatterbaits

Well after fishing them for a short time, they do work.I couldn't afford a real chatterbait, but Lizards sent me one. Here is a Gambler brand knockoff, short fish, but fish non the less. What do you think was wrong with the tail on the one picture ? Looked to be a late spawn bass ? Lmao...P N J

I got one fished it for 4 hours straight in deep water, with on bite the whole day, the bass probably got it's tail bitten off. If there are pike in that lake, then thats what probably happened.

I've found a good use for my chatterbaits. I take the skirt off of them and put them on my spinnerbaits. I haven't had much luck w/ the chatterbait, so I have removed it from rotation. I sent him back to the minor leagues for a few seasons for it to improve its game. One day if its lucky, it might get the call, but I don't really know.

Well I don't think it's called red shad, but the one I sent PNJ was Black and Red Tom, if you ever get one, you'll find it does has some good action/vibration. I thinking it might be a very good night bait. I really fish it like a spinnerbait more than anything else. But as I've already stated, they aren't the greatest thing made for fishing, like your red shad worms LMAO.

We won a tourney a couple weeks ago and 4 of the 5 keepers were caught on a chatter bait with in 30 minuets . A fluke probably but worked well that day . Havent caught any in the last 10 hrs of fishing but water has changed a little as well .

Tommy, You have got to try one. Here is what Lizards sent me.Lizards, I might have broken the rod , but when you tie 80 lb braid to the chatterbait, you don't lose the bait. P N J

I haven't had much luck with them. the dang thing wants to vibrate the pole outta my hand. not so sure if something with that much vibration is good in clear water. seems like clear water fish are more finicky and would rather hit some more natural..........and one baitfish putting off that much vibration just doesn't seem natural to me. now in stained or muddy water they might work, but I rarely fish anything other than clear.

Gambler is suppoed to be good, but mine was all messed up. I would buy the cheapest one, cause they are all really pricey.
