Question Hooks on Bomber Model A's

I love using Bomber Model A crankbaits, but the one thing I don't like one them are the stock treble hooks that are on them. They aren't very sharp and are a little thick for my liking. So I plan on swapping the treble hooks on them with VMC Vanadium's that are lighter wire hooks and also have a little more throat to them.

But my question is, since I am putting on slightly thinner hooks, do you think it will affect the action of the crankbait? If so, do you think it will affect the action negatively? Anyone experimented with changing the hooks on Bomber Model A's?

Look forward to your thoughts.

The action won´t be altered but the bouyancy will, one trick to alter the ouyancy of many cranks without having to add lead dots or strips is preciselly by changing the size of the hooks. When you change hooks be shure to change them for the same size and type the stock ones are.
