Default Update on me...

Hey guys,

I had made a post here that I ended up not liking so I came back and erased it. However I realize I should not have done that without explanation.

I am just going through a difficult time in my life, and the basic message of my OP was that I have no real drive to fish lately, and I am not sure when I will again. It may hit me tomorrow, or may not come back for years. I really just do not know. At any rate, when I do get back in the game I will be here to share with you guys.

Love you all a ton!

John

I'm sorry to hear that John. Hang in there buddy. We all go through times like that in our lives. It can be very upsetting. I'm sure you'll get your mojo back soon enough. The main thing is that whatever is causing the difficult times in your life be dealt with first. After that things will begin to resume back to normalcy. Untill then, stay in touch pal. We're all here for ya. Best wishes

John,

I have been there. Through some difficulties in my own life, I put down my gear and considered never picking it back up. At the end of the day whether it is fishing, golfing, racing, or anything you choose, I hope that you can find something that brings you happiness.

Hang in there as mentioned we all have to work through our own issues. Than move forward when you are ready.

Hang in there, John. Life is full of ups and downs, Lord knows I've had my share! I had periods when the fishing had to take a back seat for a couple of years, but I seized the opportunity when it finally did come around (and it will) and have never turned loose of it again! Keep your head up, kiddo!

Thanks for all the well wishes guys.

My family is going out of town until Thursday, so I will have the house to myself for the week. I still have not felt any desire to go fishing, but I have decided to force myself to go out at least a couple of times, because I need to do something other than sit around the house and feel bad while I am alone. Maybe I'll catch the fever while I am out there.

Sorry I wasn't around when you started this thread John.
I made my way back here and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll do the same.
Just keep in mind, no matter what's going on in your life, "therapy" is spelled F-I-S-H-I-N-G.

Hope to see you back here soon!

Hey double M!

I actually just got done relining my rods and sprucing up my bag.tossed a bunch of plastics. I went out wit Jay the other day and he caught a sweet 4 pounder. I hooked up with one that we both agree was bigger, but it got off the hook, however not before it put in a couple of nice jumps, so we both got a good look at it. 2011 was not a fishing year for me, but I've a feeling 2012 will be!

Hi John, I've never really talked to you before on the site before. But I remember when I joined this site I always loved your posts, you always had such funny things to say.

My favorite part was your pictures when you would have a little dink or panfish and you would be lipping it. It would crack me up.

Hope everything is ok, and I hope to see some pictures of your catches some spring time!
