Does the monkey win if it is on sale- few tackle questions

well this long time tackle shop since '77 is finally closing, guy is retiring. any way all zoom real cheap and Rapapas too, i got some chartrouse pepper lizards and worms. I have never used this color, anyone have any experiance with them, i suppose dirty water since the bright color. Also the sketter-pop by rapala, is it the same thing as a pop-r, i assume yes but have never seen one before, do they do a differant action, since this store is old, he has alot of colors and types i have never seen before.

To the monkey, items on sale serve a similar purpose to a boxer's jab....not very painful or destructive in and of themselves. But watch out.....that sucker is distracting you, setting you up for one hell of a right cross....

That was my favorite color of zoom worms and lizards when I was growing up. It's almost all I used. I caught many stripers and largemouth on them t-rigged in muddy water.

I'd talk to the man and see if he's got any old stock stored in boxes in a back room someplace.......that's where the good stuff is.

Discounted tackle is still monkey food!!! But be careful since he may come back and get you the next time you're looking at the high dollar tackle......."Remember when you saved all that money on the discounted items??? Well now you can afford the carbon fiber reel......."
