From the kayak
I was doing well with a Mepps Cyclops until I lost it in a snag. (Back to Walmart I go). I caught a handful of pike also. Crazy things would follow the lure in then hit it right at the boat. At that time I would be lifting the lure out to cast again, so I would take it and smack the water with it right by the kayak where they hit. Sure enough, the pike was still there and would hit it again and again until caught. Lots of fun. The biggest smallmouth hit a floating Rapala, J-11.

Way to go, Jrok! The Syclops is an excellent pike lure on the lake I fish.
