I'd have to agree with Wishing. I'd have a top water tied to the end of one of my rods. Perhaps two. Some of my favorite baits for topwater are the Baby Torpedo, a floating stickbait like a Rattln Rouge, or one of the banana shaped spook style baits. The Spro frog you have is also a good choice along with some of the other frog baits like the Strike King Rage Frogs, and the Zoom Horneytoad. I'd also concider having a buzzbait nearby to work close alongside visable cover such as logs and stumps, and over weed beds. The Chatterbait and the spinnerbait are also good lures for early morning. But I use the surface baits first thing. I know there are a lot of folks who prefer to wait untill mid morning to start pitching spinnerbaits, prefering to have some wind to cause a ripple on the surface of the water. However I have never had any trouble catching fish on a spinnerbait in the early mornig hours. Even when the water was glass still. However, under those conditions, I use a smaller 1/4oz size spinnerbait and keep the splash to a very quiet minimum. Be sure to add a twister tail grub to that spinnerbait. It makes a big difference for me. The fish in this photo of me was caught at 5:30 AM on a Smithwick Rattln Rouge in very clear calm water just slowly twitching it across the surface near some shoreline brush. Good luck.
