Default a question for the home plastic crafter

how do you mold fine hair onto a plastic bait?

I don't know what temperature hair melts at but the plastic is normally around 340-350 when you pour it. If you are looking for just a few pieces I would suggest threading it in with a big needle. Otherwise you could try to stick it in the mold before you close it up and hope it's not too thick so that the plastic seeps out of the mold. I'd try that first and if it works then maybe look at cutting some relief in the mold to hold more hair.

it seems that if i want hair like in a skirt id better just mold a skirt into my bait. do you think itll hold if i just drop a skirt in there or is there a better technique . it takes 14 days to get plastisol in up here in dwarshak idaho, if you had a process you could clue me in on id appreciate the info

I have never tried it so I don't know how well it will work. Those are just my guesses from experience. What kind of hair are you planning to use?
