Spending the day at BPS is exactly what I'm thinkin about doing Bryce, haha Woke up this morning and it's 21 degrees outside. On one hand I'm thinking it's too cold to enjoy a short fishin trip this morning where I go casting from shore at the lake park I often fish. On the other hand I shouldn't have much competition!!!

I've been out 5 times and everytime it was at least 60 degrees and sunny. Now it's back in the 30's and 40's. Which isn't too bad as long as the sun is shinning. But that da%n wind is just a pain in the butt.

Yeah it sucks, it looked like we were going to have an early spring. The lakes were just thawing out then boom it snowed and its been cold. Its sunny today, I'm getting cabin fever. I need to go fishing! *cries himself to sleep holding fishing pole*

High of 41 for tomorrow with snow. Right now it's about 40 but no snow as I know of. I hate this kind of weather.

Believe it or not, the air temp here is 29 degrees, and the last 4 days have only got to a high in the low 30's with nightly temps dropping into the low 20's. And yet, I went out to do some casting off shore at the lake and caught a 2 pounder off a Pointer 100. Had a hit on a Chatterbait but never connected. I really didn't think I would get any action at all. So Bryce, head oout tomorrow man if ya can.

Actually mid afternoons here wont be bad mid fifties, but possible rain every other day, along with that here is a tad bit of wind,in paris it will say 3.6 mph, here tops of trees be bending 1/3 to the ground, quick check on weather report again 3.9 mph.
Benton will say 3.8,and your hat will blow off at kenlake if not strapped down.
Main lake points, bays secondary points -you guessed it jerkbaits, some in the backs of bays already but as they drop the lake a ft a day a little skittish at setting up house permanent. Some have had eggs for about a week, water temp stalled at 56 main yet backs of western bays 60ish,or were. This cold snap may cool them off a tad
Traps and redeyes, mid depth crankers in later part of bays, had actually been bitten on top prior with side wobblers or walkers-sammys-spooks-gunfish gsplash my favorite
Lil over a week ago was wearing shorts and sandals and 79f,but its mother nature doing her thing
Being older maybe wiser I wait till the suns up good anymore,my old bones just dont like getting cold.

Thats alright MACK. We're always looking out for each other, giving reminders and being a big brother to each other. I wouldn't be suprised by any warnings any of us get about things related to anything around here. It's not meant to be offensive. Just a way to say, Oh ya, remember this, or think about that. Just buds lookin out for each other.
