Default Early or late?

Ok, I really expected more input on fall frenzie so I assume most of the members are as confused as I am. But I wont give up! So, dawn and dusk is usually best fishing time spring and summer. During the" frenzie" is it better to fish after the sun has been out awhile to warm the shallows and maybe bait fish move closer to shore because short water will warm in sun? Also, should presentation be faster or slow like during a cold front? Fished this morning, Temp. 43 degrees, one fish. Used mostly jigs(finese so I could use them traditionally and swim jig them, quarter oz.) Oh, thanks to all who took time to input on original frenzie question!
