Rebster,

In the event you're not aware...Our "student" had to go to the Doc-In-A-Box a couple of weeks ago. He reached down to free the rear treble of a Johnny Rattler (a gift from me, of course,) from the carpet on his battleship and nailed himself past the barb. The lure WAS hooked on the keeper and the front treble wore a bonnet, so this was a fairly odd occurence.
I wasn't there, thank God.
I've since replaced the hooks and will hand it over to him during our next venture.
On the bright side, he seems to get the picture re hook bonnets and NOT leaving his lures at the rod tip.

I dont know that looks a little fake lol, it looks like he actually hooks it on his nose himself after catching the lure in his hand.

I saw a bullet sinker go up a guys nose on a hookset,
during a tourney at rocky fork lake in ohio, they took him to the emergency room and about 3 hours later he was back in his boat finishing the day.

My Grandfather was fishing a Night tournament with my Dad and got hung. When he jerked the 1/2 ounce jig out it came flying back and hit him in the forehead knocking him out cold and out of the boat. By Dad had to jump in and pull him back in the boat. I have 4 Uncles on my Moms side and my Grandpa has fell out of the boat with every single one at one time or another.
