Default Dang boat newbies

Well I could hear Brittney Spears saying oops I did it again, but it was my first time for the BC. I met a buddy a few days ago for a day of fishing. We met at the ramp and laid everything out and in the water she went. I parked the truck and came down to the pier and jumped in. My buddy turns to me asked, hey, you got the plug in. And I says nope, he says you chittin' me, I says nope. I threw my shirt off and pulled the plug out of my pocket and reach down the transom and think unless your arms grew 4', this ain't happening. So I kick the bilge on and throw him the keys and run back up to the truck. Get her back trailered with about 8" of water in the bottom. The lake wasn't big enough to plain and drain....yes I have done that with a previous boat. But after draining a couple of minutes we were back in the water and fishing. We managed 8 or 9 a piece though so the day wasn't ruined with the thought of my kitty getting submerged.
