We got skunked

The weather was nice in Kansas today, at least temperature wise. It was 60 degrees but it was very windy. Tavery and I decided to get out and try our luck. It was so windy that we could not effectivly fish most of the areas we wanted to try. The water was 39 degrees and we needed to fish very slow but that was imposible with the wind blowing us around. We tried everything we could think to use in some of the more shelterd areas but had no luck at all. We still had a great time enjoying what will probably be the last warm day for a few months. Had some good conversation and an enjoyable afternoon, even if the fish did laugh at us.
