Default Great Day and oh Yeah Baby!

Probably thought I caught a hawg huh? No just got about 15 bass in 2 hours of fishing today off a dock on a 3.5 inch Maniac hand poured dropshot worm on a 1/0 owner hook and a 1/4 th oz. weight.. Bass where all on one dock just STACKED! Using 10lb line.. I got two on a Baby bass sweet beaver and a green pumpkin one. Bass where sitting off the dock feeding on the bait fish schooled up under the docks. I had 7 on 7 casts can you believe it... water temperature was 41 degress and surface of 45... It was awesome...well its going to get cold this week so probably wont be as good next weekend.. I broke one off too that was pretty nice.. haven't changed the line in a while cause in the winter usually the fishing isn't as good..lol. THe worms were covered in a special sent I use that you guys probably never heard off...lets just say it's made with kreel or creel however you spell it... I have found the cheap 19.99 dollar baitcasting rods at BPS the IM6 graphites to be excellent dropshot rods IMO. I use a medium 7 footer.... Biggest was about 2lbs on a sweet beaver.

Do you know how to fish a PNJ? If so tie a 1/0 hook on you line with a polamar knot, and leave say 18" of line hanging like it's to be trimmed. Put a smaller worm 4" or smal fluke(baby fluke) on the hook, nosed hooked. Then tie on you PNJ, as you normally would at a length of 6"-18". Most of the time I will catch the fish while the line is tight, and you have the PNJ on the bottom, and are just wiggling the rod tip to make the fluke/worm twitch. Hope this helps, and don't be surprised if you catch one on the PNJ though Dragging the PNJ is more productive than trying to hop it in this case.
