Snow Storm (pics)
I know we didn't really get enough snow here to call it a storm, but oh well. We ended up with about 2" of snow, but strong winds.
In the morning, after the wind died down a little (not much), I went out to take some pictures. It's amazing how big of drifts 2" of snow can make. BB

lol, I hear ya. Had to run to the store yesterday before we got the driveway plowed. I had to take my mom's van since I got my truck stuck in a drift about a foot high in our driveway.

Haha. Yeah, they can be rough. A few years ago, a buddy of mine and I were running late for Pool League, and we had a 1/2 hour drive. I was cruisin along pretty good, making good time. We came up over a little rise and the dip on the other side was completely drifted over. We made it but it was touch and go for a minute there

I wouldn't know how to act with snow like that. I reckon that is why accidents go through the roof when it does actually snow down here.

That's perfect for drift bustin! I've been doing that since I was 16 and well almsot 20 years later I'm still doing it!! The 3'ers are a little harder but still fun, you just have to make sure the snow is soft.

Man am I glad I moved from Ohio, storm last week dumped 2 in here, was gone two days later.Rare treat as seldom actually covers the ground completely at Ky lake in Tn.
Day it started we had 1/8 in and my bank had closed, and no southerners cant drive on it,freak out totally. But dont exactly miss it either. |

I'll try to post the latest pics from the storm we had. Got out and shoveled out (again). Surveyed the tree damage done by the layer of ice. Got some work to do when it warms up.
Nope not able to post photo's from the cell phone. I'll have to download them and post them from the 'puter. |
