You go ahead with your bad self. Just remember that area is a bit more sinsitive to such things. I'd hate to see you squirming and doing that dragin-butt dance the dog does after a flea bath.

In Texas we do have more trucks than cars and it DO get a little confusing at times.

And to borrow a little fromMr.Fosworthy regarding Yankees, "Y'all are going to be real surprised when y'all hear St. Peter say, 'Y'all get in the truck-we're going up to the big house'"

And how can you not include "ustacould" in the Southern vernacular?

We went on a hike through the desert in New Mexico years ago with my church youth group. One of the girls didn't look around well enough when she went to answer the call of nature. We heard a different kind of call when the cactus got a hold of her. Sounded like a roomful of cats that all got their tails stepped on at the same time.

Reb-- good word, I use it all the time. "I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I've ever been."

Anybody remember that Southern comedian who used to tell stories about his Grandma? He had one story that only a Southron would understand. When he was a little kid, he was bothering his Granma in the kitchen one day when she reached down to swat him. He scrambled under the table and his grandma said, "Get on out from up underneath there!" If that makes sense, you're Southern- No matter where you live.

Another thing is when you're going to visit someone you always say one thing, hethe rit be we're going down to see them, or up to see them. Most people only use one or the other, no matter where the people their going to see live.

Aww man.. I had just gotten to where I wasn't saying that a hundred times a day. lol
I saw that awhile back, even had my little boy running around saying, "SILENCE!! I KILL YOU!!!" hahaha... I had to have that little talk with him about when and where it was alright to say that, around daddy and the guys, but not around grandma or in school. He goes to a privite christian school....boy oh boy did I catch it for that one. hahahaha
