Default removing a post

How in the hell do you remove a post you started but don't want ?

I think you can go to edit and when it comes up instead of going down tot he message box to edit it you go to thw very top above all the message tools and there should be a box that says delete this message try that.

Thanks for trying to help , but when I click the edit delete button, there is no delete selection to choose.Same with posts, Some of them I can Edit and others don't give me the option to edit my post either and then other posts I can delete the post or edit it with no problems. ok, i just tried, what i did is went to edit, then in the ''delete the message'' box, push the delete this message, then push the other delete this message at the bottom of that box. worked for me.

I just looked at a couple of my previous posts and didn't see any edit option at all.

However, I was able to edit this one. Maybe there's a time limit?

Hey guys,

There is indeed a time limit for deleting one of your posts. I'll have to take a look at what I set the time frame to be (I think it is 30 minutes), but I will get back to you on this. We have this time limit in place to prevent users from deleting posts that may become a critical component to a large thread.
