yeah 100% teak and walnut wood. the bottom is a special paint that cost out the hoo hoo.. the guy that currantly has it paid about $38,000 for it..and ya thought bass boats are high huh? the sides are a single peice of teak wood about 2 inches thick and 24 feet long. the shine is from expoy resin that coats the entire boat. the bottom -starting at the paint line-is walnut. inside is flooring is teak and balsa.-teak in the places you can see it- heavy ya think? it weighs in at a chubby 5800 pounds -dry hull weight- running it displaces 6800+ pounds.it has a tri axel trailer
dad used to pull it with an old international stake bed truck. i have no idea where this picture was takin -looks like a big a$$ed swimming pool to be honest- zooker

If it floats, you can fish from it. That's a beautiful boat, and your negative, grammatically incoorect comments about everything are not appreciated. Zook- How fast does she run?

i didnt mean to be negative, its a really, really beautiful boat. i just said that there isnt much room for fishing, so it would be harder than a regular bass boat.

ZOOKER,
I missed out on a chance to buy a 1948 25 ft Cris Craft a few years ago tht looked very similar to that boat, except it needed a lot of work and TLC. Some A..H... had painted it white. (Probably with house paint) It disappeared before I got a chance to get back to inquire about it. JackL

He probably wouldnt fish out of as its not a fishing boat, and he would not run her near heavy cover, or shallow water. He has a boat for fishing, therefore would have no need to fish out of that one. Some boats are made for beauty, not fishing!

A boat like that is meant for cruising and answering a lot of questions about. Just put it in the water and add women.

Amen to that. A beer or two would also be appropriate.

zooker, that is one beautiful boat. somethings in life are to be admired for their beauty. and i think too, it appears to be in a swimming pool, kinda reminds me of "second hand lions", with the yacht in a pond in their back yard in texas. perhaps the opportunity for you to acquire the boat may arise in the near future, i hope so.

Is that the same boat that is Indiana Jones and the Last crusade? It sure looks like it - you know, when they are in Venice?

Just goes to show ya that viennie sausage eating, garlic spray smelling, worm slinging ole farts can have CLASS. And the beauty of the whole thing is ya aint gotta do it at 100mph. Workmanship in boats like that will always be awed.
