Default Pontoons

Pontoons, i think their the best boat to fish from!! with my fish finder, trolly motor and all the space to fish from, i thinks their the best!! any one agree???

If you are bobber fishing probably. But if you are Bass fishing, and covering water, they are about the worst IMO.

its a good stable platform with plenty of room to get around, but their size makes them cumbersome to manuever in certain areas and if its windy and boat position is a factor, forget it. its a good rig to take the family for a day on the water but not the best for serious fishing.

Nice way to have a grill out on the water too, we see lots of old timers crappie fishing from 'toons

Ya, if you want to go out with a lot of people, have fun, fish a little, pontoons are great, if you want serious bass, rip one of them pontoons off and fish it like a canoe.

For catfish they are the way to go. As long as you anchor and fish on the bottum. Bream fishing or crappie fishing they may work ok as well.
Forget about bass.
