ThunderStruck flippin jig is coming along well.
i just got an email from prostaff member michael teate who is building the ultimate flippin/grass jig for us. he sent this pic of a fish he caught on the harris chain whith a message that said we are making progress. just thought i would let you all know since we have been getting a lot of questions about how this jig is coming along.

I'm waiting, will make an order when you get them. Bama showed me the fooball jigs and I was impressed with the craftsmanship. Football jigs are just not a technique I am using down here, but I could use some good flipping jigs.

I've got some of Kory's football jigs and they are a super nice, high quality jigs, but like wtl I don't use that technique much in the lake I fish....Theres just so much timber in the water that a flippin jig is more what I need.....Keep us posted on its progress Kory.....and hurry every chance ya get....lol.

I just ordered a few jigs from Kory. Football head jigs are the order of the day on the ledges. I will have to try out his new jig when it is ready.

Cmorg, I'm not really experienced with bass jigging. What kind of jig do you think would be best for Patoka? There's a lot of timber, but there's also a ton of rocky, pebbly ledges and slopes.

Rocky ledges, slopes, etc. Go with a football jig on those. for the timber, go with a flippin' Jig. Since neither I, or Kory make flippin jigs (yet anyways), I use Booyah ones.
Kory, glad to hear it's coming a long good. I was thinking of starting making flippin' jigs, but mine will probably just be stock Do-It molds, lol. BB

i use our roundhead finesse jig for timber and the football head for rock. the roundhead will come through rock ok but not near as good as the football head.

Thanks for the instruction, Kory. I've been planning to order a few jigs from you. I totally want one of the red, white, and blue ones.
