Never fished a carolina rig in my life... so far i have gotten info from another forum but was hopin to get inut from you guys too...

Would a 7'6" Heavy/Fast flippin stick with 50lb braid main line and 15lb copolymer leader be an ok setup so that i can get started trying this technique without purchasing anything else???

That sounds like it would work to me. I use a 7' HF with 50lb braid and 17lb mono for my leader. You should be good to go.

That setup should get you by just fine. The only thing you might lack is a little sensativity but the braid should help make up for it. The carolina rig isn't rocket science, just drag it around. Pay a lot of attention to what your bait is coming through because even if you aren't getting bit on the carolina rig it will help you find subtle differences in the bottom make up and you can go back over these sweet spots with other baits.

While I have not used that particular model, I have used some prefab carolina rigs in the past. I find that most are great at the noise portion, but are lacking when it comes to sensitivity. I do not know how well you will feel the soft bites as the sensation moves across the rig itself.

I agree with Cass. I also don't think they'd come through cover very well. I much prefer to use a tungsten weight (or two smaller ones) with a TT Force Bead.

I normally use a TT flipping weight and a TT Force Bead with one of those brass knot protector/clackers. I've never used any of the pre-rigs but I would think the wire would restrict sensitivity. Your weight is pegged to your line whereas a normal c-rig setup allows your line to slide freely through the weight. In other words, if a fish grabs your bait it doesn't have to drag around your weight.
