Default Another reason for a flouro leader

Since flouro sinks, adding some flouro leader to braid can help the bait sink a bit faster.

Well my strike ratio has dropped a lot over the last month or so. I have resisted a leader on my braid but today I have decided to try it. I don't have any flouro and I don't have the money for it right now. What I do have is 10# Vicious Ultimate in "Lo-Vis Green". I just put it on so I have nothing to report yet, but I will update when I have some fishing done on it.

Thumbs up I think you will be pleasently surprised.

IMO, the lo-vis green mono is real close to flouro in terms of visibility in all but the clearest water. I started out using braids w/out a leader, noticed an immediate increse, as soon as I started using one. I generally use as long a leader as I can and still keep 8-12" of line off the rod tip without having to wind the leader/mainline knot back onto the reel. I will use the same leader down to about 4' before changing.
