Default Allow myself to introduce...myself

Hello fellow fishermen..

Just a quick introduction. My Name is Russell. I am 29 years old and live in Bossier City Louisiana where i am a Police Officer. I have fished since the age of 3 or so but only took up bass fishing (as opposed to catfishing, bream fishing) about 10 years ago. It was my passion for about 6 years until work and the birth of my daughter required me to be every where but the lake

Well, i decided that needed to change, and about a month ago i dug out all my old tackle, bought a new bass boat (2010 Tracker Pro170 tx thankyaverymuch) and decided to dive back in. Around that time, while watching video's on youtube, i discovered this site, and these forums. I really have to say i have been so impressed with the knowledge that is here, as well as how friendly everyone is. Both of which are rare qualities to find on the internet.

I can promise you i will be doing alot more question asking than i will question answering, but please bear with me.

If you are wondering where Bossier City is, we co-hosted the 2009 Bass Master Classic, and will again host it in 2012.

I also enjoy long walks on the beach.

Anyway, just thought i would introduce myself before i started going willy nilly all over the boards askin questions.

Welcome to the forums. I for one have a question. Is Jackmahogoff your real name? Because if it is I think you have the greatest name of all time.

Great way to introduce yourself and welcome aboard. And feel free to ask plenty of questions. Most of us guys love to respond. A pair of hip wadders might be advised when listening to some of these guys though.

Welcome aboard! Don't worry about question asking, I think most of the did more asking than answering at first. I know I did.

Welcome aboard! You will find an answer to any question you can dream up on here! To every question there are usually multiple answers in bass fishing, most of the time all of them are the right answer. so when you ask questions be sure to include as much detail as you can. You are in close proximity to some of the greatest bass fishing to be had (Classic site for 2012 = Red River!).

I am rolling on the name. Welcome aboard Russell. You ever fish Lake Bistineau? I have a buddy up that way that has invited me, but like you said, family time can put a lot of things on the back burner.
