Default this is so so...

WRONG!!!! it aint funny..
i was looking at my favorite online store for brats..

http://www.olsenssausageshoppe.com/c..._8048f9bc5e80/

now olsens do make very very good brats no question. i especially like the onion garlic brat..it's good enough i was drooling while ordering them..

but scroll all the way to the bottom of the brat page and you see this..

http://www.olsenssausageshoppe.com/c..._8048f9bc5e80/

yes friends that is a spinich, feta cheese, and chicken brat. now i ask you if your havin a throw down and cookin brats while tippin a few back..just who in the he!! is wanting to be "healthy" ??..

130 cals per brat.. dam regular jobs are around 300 cals per BITE plus additives..

ok my rant is over i did however order $100 worth the brats and kielbasa, which i REFUSE to share..

Okay, okay...don't shoot me, but I just never did like brats. I like polish sausages, chorizo, you name it...but ugh....brats.

I do agree that spinach and feta cheese in a sausage is sacrilege though. Kinda like gummy bears on a pizza.

The best sausage I ever ate was made from Pronghorn Antelope out in Wyoming. Seemed like one of our friends was always killing some form of big game out there. I wish I had gotten the recipe, but alas, I was only twelve, and didn't realize I would never be tasting it again.

Zooker - I made a pit stop the other day at Lothar's Sausages & Meat Cuts and picked up some Westfalische Bavarian Brats, and a few others, from the German Lothar himself. He makes 88 types of sausage in all. Good stuff and I ain't sharing either.

As soon as the weather breaks I'm gonna make one of those. I might even share it with the guys at work. Thanks Waffle. Um, maybe before the weather breaks.

And I was trying to avoid eating a massive baked potato with cheese, sour cream, chili, butter, and bratwurst bits on top.

Thanks for the extra 10 pounds guys.

And I am going to learn to make that Bacon Explosion. First chance I get I am going to cook the heck out of that. Definitly going to get my Aunt's homemade non seasoned bacon and that bad boy is going on the pit.

Don't count on it Tom. I bet that $100.00 of Brats will be gone before you can drive to Zookers place.

One of my local grocery stores makes jalapeno & sharp cheddar brats.
Great stuff

Leaving to pick up some right now, you made me so hungry I just have to do it. If only my food monkey was a little weaker I would be thin and have more to feed my bait monkey, but alas, I am poor, fat, and happy.

UMMMM Old Wisconsin Cheddar polish dogs on onion potato rolls with sauerkraut and ketchup, with a side of cole slaw. And a leinenkugel summer honey, but alas, no propane in the grill, guess we will have to use the panini press. The only down side, who the he!! uses garlic in their cole slaw?!!! damn resers!
