LL, that is very true! You can say the same thing for Lake Amistad and Lake Falcon as well. I was fortunate to have grown up fishing with my Mom and Dad on Big Sam and T-Bend in my formative years (9 to 16) and honed my love for Bass Fishing many years ago. Those lakes anchor my fishing memories very well!

Heck, they all sound great to me... I've always been intrigued by El Salto, don't know why.

Really any trip with my Dad 70+, and not in great health, and my oldest boy, almost 10 and addicted to fishing, would be a dream trip....

I never went to Mexico, just never felt the need to because we had such good fishing right there in Texas. However, there are a number of guys in Texas that swear about Sugar Lake down in Mexico. Not well known but the guys back home love it.

This doesn't have anything to do with Deep South Bassin', but I just wanted to say that I admire the young folks on this site! I hope ya'll ask, learn and share everything you can! Ya'll are at a great age to be excellent bassers and contribute a lot to our excellent sport. Do what you can now, because one day you're gonna go to sleep at 19, wake up and be 42 years old and not remember how in the h*** that happened! Good luck, young anglers!
