This year I wanna take a big stab at big swimbait fishing.
Ive been watching vids and reading articles on it...Watching guys on Lake Biwi in Japan haul up monster 8-12lb bass kind of gave me a fever. Other than that I just wanna tighten everything else up..Everything can be improved or modified.

Getting good on smallie basics, would be great! and catching some while I'm at would be nice. Also I think I'll be saving all winter for a canoe

I would really like to get my oldest son,7, started on bass fishing. He keeps telling me he would like to go. And I think the sitting there and watching a bobber catfishing, just isn't his thing. He can't sit still. So I would like to find a little pond and have him chunking a beatle spin or something and have him tie in to a few. I would like to make a few more trips myself too.

I've got the green light from my wife to fish the Weekend Series again this year. I haven't since 2005 but I finished in the top 10 twice and the top 50 in every tournament and ended up going to regionals at Patoka in Indiana and had a really tough tournament. It was so tough I finished 45th out of 134 anglers with one 2 pound fish. I'd like the chance to fish them again so I'm really looking forward to it.
