Frogs ...
I was on the lake for 1 hour in thick lilly's useing a black worm and the texas rig style, nothing.So i put on a frog my wife got me as a joke from walmart becuse im always in the lilly's right..Man all tell you i caught 4 nice size bass had to be 3-4 pounds,I never thought about useing a plastic frog.But im telling you as a Plastic Fisherman my eyes have been open,Then my father says he used Real ones in florida to catch bass,channel cats and baby gators. I was fishing at 11am and it was about 65 out and full sun the whole week was about 75-95 some lakes were killing fish it got so hot here..July 28..

There are several posts on here about frog, and normally success. You should go back through and read a few.
Frogs have been, and continue to be a major part of my Summer arsenal. WAR

I have also had very good results with frogs. I use the Green/yellow mister twister frogs. anybody else use these?

Actually, I should'nt have said that, your correct, they can be very sucessful in cover, but can suck in open water, or just the opposite. Every bait has it's time to shine, and sometimes every bait sucks.
